For someone you know
Send this to a family you know.
5YearJourney is a small advisory for families with a child in the five years from sixteen — school, university, and the first career. One named person works with them, a chapter at a time, with the prices published. Nobody signs up for years of anything.
Know a family this might suit?
Send them the link. Add your name and we’ll know who to thank — and they’ll arrive as someone you vouched for rather than a stranger.
Who it suits
A family whose child is around sixteen and starting to think about university and what comes after; a student of eighteen or more making that decision for themselves; an adult weighing a change of direction. The first step is the same for all of them: a short paid diagnostic that ends in a one-page decision — including, when it is the honest answer, the recommendation not to work with us.
Who it does not
Anyone looking for a guarantee. We work toward the admission, the offer or the funding and never promise any of them — nobody honest can. We do not do test prep, and we are not an admissions agency.
Who is behind it
Ron Sircar. Oxford MBA; over ten years in international development with the World Bank Group and UK Aid programmes, mostly on the buyer’s side of the table — choosing the people and managing the teams that delivered the work. He does the work with each family himself. More about how he works.
What happens when they write
They tell Ron in two lines what is in front of their child. He replies himself within two working days. Then a twenty-minute conversation, free, with nothing to buy on the site. If you added your name to the link above, he will know you sent them and they will arrive as someone you vouched for.
With under-18s, a parent is part of every step, and nothing happens on a channel the family does not know about.
Prices, the chapters, and everything above are on the home page.
